Fun Fact

I grew up facing significant hardships, often living in poverty and experiencing hunger. Despite these challenges, I refused to give up and worked hard to build a better life for myself. Those early experiences taught me resilience, empathy, and the importance of community support—values that continue to guide me today. I am proud to call Columbia Falls my home. In my free time, I enjoy fencing, which helps me stay focused and disciplined. I’m also passionate about reading and drawing, activities that allow me to express myself and keep learning. Beyond my hobbies, I’m deeply involved in community outreach because I believe in the power of coming together to support one another and create positive change. My background and interests have shaped my commitment to serving Columbia Falls, and I’m dedicated to working toward a future where everyone has the opportunity to thrive

Past Experience

I’m new to politics and this is my first campaign, but I believe that brings a fresh perspective. Growing up in poverty, I truly understand the challenges many people in Columbia Falls face every day. My experiences have given me genuine empathy and a strong commitment to working families. I want to bring that perspective to the city council and help guide our community toward a future that benefits everyone.

My Top Issues

Increasing affordable housing options

I believe we must prioritize public investment in affordable, community-controlled housing to ensure everyone in Columbia Falls has a safe place to live. Housing is a basic right, and I’m committed to fighting displacement and speculation that put homes out of reach for working families.

Invest in local public education

I believe every child deserves access to a high-quality education, regardless of their background or income. I support strong public investment in local schools to ensure our students, teachers, and families have the resources they need to thrive, because education should serve the community, not profit.

Supporting initiatives against discrimination

I believe everyone deserves to feel safe, respected, and valued in our community. That’s why I support initiatives that promote equity, inclusion, and fairness, and work to ensure no one faces discrimination based on who they are.

Housing

Housing isn’t just an economic issue—it’s a human right, and we should treat it as such.

Environment / Energy

I support sustainable development, responsible water management, and protecting open space and farmland from corporate overreach.

Infrastructure / Transportation

I’ll also push for walkable, connected neighborhoods by supporting investment in sidewalks, bike paths, and accessible infrastructure—especially in areas that have been overlooked.

Housing

On City Council, I’ll support zoning decisions and land-use policies that prioritize affordable housing, protect green space, and encourage locally owned businesses over corporate chains.

Wages / Job Benefits

I believe everyone deserves a living wage—and that includes support for collective bargaining rights and ethical labor standards.

Housing

I support policies that increase access to affordable housing without displacing the people who already live here. That includes revising zoning laws to support diverse housing options and pushing back against unchecked speculation that prices out working-class residents.

Economy

By building partnerships with local businesses and unions, we can grow a resilient economy that works for the many, not just the few.

Criminal Justice / Public Safety

Everyone deserves to feel safe—but real safety comes from stable housing, accessible mental health care, well-lit public spaces, and a strong sense of community. I support alternatives to policing that prioritize prevention, crisis intervention, and compassionate care—because safety should uplift, not intimidate.

Civil Rights

I believe Columbia Falls must be a place where all residents feel valued and respected, no matter their race, sexual orientation, religious beliefs , gender identity, economic status, or country of origin. Discrimination divides us and weakens our community. That’s why I will support initiatives that promote equity, fight bias, and ensure fair treatment for everyone.
