My Top Issues

Taxes / Budget

It’s time to hold utilities like Spectrum and National Grid accountable for rate increases, sneaky fees, and poor quality service. We need to end exclusive contracts and negotiate deals to save you money.

Housing

I will stop giving your tax dollars to out-of-town developers and instead fund first-time homebuyer and rent stabilization programs so families can stay in Worcester. Ensure seniors keep their lifelong homes by expanding property tax work-off programs, offering heat and energy assistance, and make it easy for homeowners to build Accessory Dwelling Units to downsize loved ones.

Education

I started a children’s foundation focusing on STEM and life skills and I will focus on securing funds to expand vocational education and prepare students for the high-paying jobs of the future. We need to level the playing field for local businesses by removing unnecessary redtape, providing technical assistance programs, and unlocking local, state, and federal grants and competitive tax advantages.

Infrastructure / Transportation

I’ll lead on pedestrian safety, protecting our schools, and addressing crime. We need better lighting, signage, and traffic enforcement, social workers in our schools, and positive community police relations. We have to keep the WRTA fare free, and expand routes and times of service. This will create jobs, reduce traffic, is better for the environment, and saves you money.

Environment / Energy

We need a real beautification and upgrade plan for our neighborhoods, parks, and open spaces. Let’s work together to create cleaner, greener, and more accessible community spaces.
