I am a Kennett Borough resident running for Kennett school board without party affiliation this November. Every man and woman is created by God and has intrinsic, dignity, value and worth from the moment of conception. Abortion is murder. Pornography is evil. Use of artificial contraceptives is evil, harms women and in some cases can result in abortions. IVF results in the killing of innocent unborn human life. Marriage is between one man and one woman. A man cannot become a woman nor a woman become a man. These are objective truths. Ideologies that deny these truths are demonic. Children should not be groomed to embrace such perverted ideologies. As a school board member I will continue to insist this problem is discussed and corrected prior to all other business. I have specific concerns over KCSD 9th grade health care curriculum, Counselor Standards, Pa policy and library content. The health care curriculum: · does not acknowledge an unborn child as human life. · presents contraceptive (including potential abortifacients) as options. · references an online resource which has a webpages that refers to artificial birth control, IVF and abortion services (Ref C). The definitions provided for “Gender Expression” and “Gender Identity” in Ref A and the content of Ref B state erroneous information regarding the intrinsic nature and dignity of being either a man or a woman. After review of Sections A1.e, A1.i, A1.j, A1.k, A2.d, A6.b, A6.e, A10.e, and B3.k of Ref A, I am concerned with the potential for counselors to present/support abortion (killing of an unborn child) as an option for students. I am also concerned with the potential for counselors to mislead students regarding the student’s intrinsic nature and dignity of being either a man or a woman. Both situations can facilitate great harm to students. God created men and women. Sex cannot be changed and is an inherent to the human person. It is de-humanizing to indicate otherwise.
