Hobbies - I love the fabulous outdoors/God’s creations, including but not limited to: fishing, golfing, bird watching, boating, hiking, and shooting. Love sports – especially football and golf. I also love riding in my Launch Edition Toyota Supra sports car and working on our three mountain rental cabins in NC.
Past Experience
I am an experienced Senior Project Manager and hold a PMP Certification (Project Manager Professional). I have over 30 years of experience in project management. I have personally managed over 65 projects up $35M, including estimating, securing vendor subcontractors, labor, equipment, and building project teams from startup through closeout. This included scheduling, budgeting, negotiating, and financial analysis. My experience and expertise will be highly valuable as a city council member. I know how to make every dollar count—because I’ve done it both at work and home. My background has taught me to look beyond the numbers, find creative solutions, and use data-driven decision-making to solve real problems.
Like you, I care about keeping our city safe, affordable, maintaining low taxes, and welcoming for everyone. As a father and grandfather, I know the importance of safe streets, quality schools, and accessible healthcare. I believe in listening to constituents and working collaboratively to find solutions that benefit everyone. I’m not a career politician—just a neighbor who wants to use my experience to make Canton more efficiently oriented to the needs of its residents.
